· Implemented a complete business e-commerce and accounting management system
· The system operates in real-time, and processes many accounting related tasks on a scheduled basis, which include:
o Receiving inventory
o Performing auto-shipments
o Updating product pricing on the website
o Updating quantities of items available on the website
o Taking orders from the web and transferring them into their accounting package (Sage Pro ERP)
o Creating actual Sales Orders
o Displaying the daily open orders
o Deleting items no longer available for sale on the website
o Cleaning up file names
o Appending categories to automatically create complete part numbers (based upon an item's SKU number, it first defines the link to the General Ledger and then determines the cost)
o Validating orders
o Sending email alerts and order confirmations
